- A new Conference on Dariush Shayegan will be presented at the
Cafe Litte, in Montreal, on February 5, 2009.
In this Conference, I will present more critical views towards the
philosophy of Shayegan, on different concepts related "Métissage" or
Hybridization, Composition of Modern and Traditional values, and
also, on "Migrant" and "Mutant", Virtualization, Transmutation and
mysticism.
- Staring from February 2009, I will start a series of Lectures on Modernityand Philosophy
at Cafe Litt
in Montreal, for almost 10 sessions. Themes are the following:
Descartes, Theory of Subject and the Modern Time. Deascartes, Kant
and the modern theory of Science and Ethics. Hegel and history of
Modern Time. Globalization of Modernity, and Modernity and Orient
(Eastern and Western Civilizations). Darush Shayegan, and finally :
thinking about the possibility of a Metissage of
Consciousness.

Conference on the philosophy of Dariush Shayegan at MEKIC, in
Montreal.
I talked about 2 books of Shayegan: "La Lumiere vient de l'Occident"
(2002), and "Regard Mutile" (1989). Both books are in French and
have published in Paris.
- On January 11, I gave a conference on
Cinema,
before and after 1979, at Anjoman Adabi, in Montreal. Click here

- On December 19, I will give a Conference in Montreal on
Human Rights, in a
celebration party for 60th anniversary of Human Rights at Cafe Saba
in Montreal.
2008-2007:
- In February 2008, I gave a
Conference in French at the University of Montreal, in a specific
day called: Belles Soirées.
This year, the
University planned to have a conference with several speakers on
Iran. The subject of my conference is: Iranian Intellectuals
between 2 revolutions.

In April 2008, I should give a
conference in English at St. Paul University in Ottawa on
Terrorism and Ethics. More information will be published here
soon.

have 3 books under preparation.
1- Modernité et métissage en Orient (la suite de mon premier
livre en Francais)This book is in French and should be published in
Paris in 2008.
2- La pensée de la liberté
en Iran, (sur Mashrouteh et ses
consequences) This book is in Persian and should be published in
Tehran.
3- L'anti-occidentalisme en Iran, (sur Les racines de la
revolution 1979)
This book is in French and should be published in Paris.

This book has been published in French in Paris in 2006 and has
translated into Persian by Dr. Bahman Sadigi, a professor
at
Concordia University in Montreal, au Canada.
It has been also translated into English in Paris as well.
The author is revising the both texts and we hope publishing them in
2008.
Ce
livre a été traduit en persan en été 2007 à Montreal, au
Canada, et il a également traduit en Anglais à Paris. Les
deux traductions sont en cours de révision par l’auteur, et nous
espérons les publier en 2008.
