Future Conferences and Meetings in Canada:


- In January 9, 2009, I will give 2 days Lectures on Darush Shayegan and his thoughts at MEKIC, in Montreal.
I will talk about 2 books of Shayegan: "La Lumiere vient de l'Occident" (2002), and "Regard Mutile" (1989). Both books are in French and have published in Paris.

- On December 19, I will give a Conference in Montreal on Human Rights, in a celebration party for 60th anniversary of Human Rights.

- On January 11, I will give a conference on Cinema, before and after 1979, at Anjoman Adabi, in Montreal. Click here >>>>

- Staring from January 2009, I will start a series of Conferences on Modernity and Philosophy at Cafe Litt in Montreal, for almost 10 sessions. Themes are the following:
Descartes, Theory of Subject and the Modern Time. Kant and the modern theory of Science and Ethics. Hegel and history of Modern Time. Globalization of Modernity, and Modernity and Orient (Eastern and Western Civilizations). Darush Shayegan, and finally : thinking about the possibility of a Metissage of Consciousness.

- In February 2008, I gave a Conference in French at the University of Montreal, in a specific day called: Belles Soirées. This year, the University planned to have a conference with several speakers on Iran. The subject of my conference is: Iranian Intellectuals between 2 revolutions.

- On December 6, 2007, I gave a Conference in Montreal in French on my book, "Une Modernité Sans Occident". The Conference will be organized by MEKIC.

Books under preparation

I have 3 books under preparation.

1- Modernité et métissage en Orient (la suite de mon premier livre en Francais)This book is in French and should be published in Paris in 2008.

2- La pensée de la liberté en Iran, (sur Mashrouteh et ses consequences)
This book is in Persian and should be published in Tehran.

3- L'anti-occidentalisme en Iran,  (sur Les racines de la revolution 1979)
This book is in French and should be published in Paris.
 

- I published 2 articles in a Journal called EurOrient. published in Paris.

The first article was on my book (Modernite sans Occident), and the second one was on the Intellectual general during 1960-70 and Iranian Revolution.

This book has been published in French in Paris in 2006 and has translated into Persian by Dr. Bahman Sadigi, a professor at Concordia University in Montreal, au Canada.
It has been also translated into English in Paris as well. The author is revising the both texts and we hope publishing them in 2008.

Ce livre a été traduit en persan en été 2007 par Dr. Bahman Sadigi, professeur de l’université de Concordia, à Montreal, au Canada, et il a également traduit en Anglais à Paris. Les deux traductions sont en cours de révision par l’auteur, et nous espérons les publier en 2008.
